Exhibition of drawings of Ukrainian children reopened

Today at 11:00 am at W. Łukasiński Elementary School No. 10 with Integration Branches in Zamość, a meeting was held that opened the second exhibition in frames of 'Let me tell you as story – Help for Ukraine' project. It is an exhibition of drawings created by Ukrainian children who stayed at the aid point at 62 Zamoyskiego str. in Zamość. The meeting was attended by: Teachers and students from Elementary School No. 10; Association HEureka Generator; Association Zamojskie Centrum Wolontariatu; Association Art Avanti; Volunteers who worked at the aid point for refugees from Ukraine in Zamość; Refugees from Ukraine temporarily staying in Zamość; Inhabitants of Zamość who host refugees from Ukraine in their homes. What participants thought about the activities so far?

What is easy to play the team games? Yes, it was easy, because everyone was friendly, supportive, communicative and understanding. But we think it was pretty hard for the leader, because they had to take the responsibility for the whole group . What was your favorite game of the day? We really liked 'Mission impossible', because it was fun, the tasks were really interesting and we got to know each other better. How did you feel while listening to the interview? It was interesting, we were focused and felt curious. What did you learn from Angelina’s presentation about Ukraine? We learnt that they eat a lot of borsch, have really happy spirits, we listened to Ukrainian songs and danced folk dances it was really fun. How did you like the traditional Ukrainian dances? We liked it very much but we were confused at first... How did you feel in the end of the day? We felt tired but very very happy and satisfied, because we learnt a lot.

Into the topic

On the third day of our youth exchange we had activities connected with the main topic of our youth exchange which is help for Ukraine. One of our main task during this project was to prepare interviews which later we would conduct in Zamość. So first of all, we learned about the structure of the interview, we learned how the questions should look like and what type of questions we shouldn't ask. We got to know more about the volunteers we were going to interview. We also could listen to the pattern interview with one of the volunteers that helped Ukrainian refugees. Thanks to that we could better prepare our own questions. In the evening our Ukrainian participant prepared a quiz about Ukraine and showed us some Ukrainian dances and games. We had fun but also learned a lot.
