How to create a peaceful world?

On the next day we had a simulation of the city council meeting. Our task was to take the role of representatives of various social groups and decide on what to spend part of the city budget. It was interesting exercise because we had to try to understand the way of thinking of a completely different person. We understood that it's not so easy to communicate and come to an agreement when everyone is thinking only about their own welfare.

Into the topic

On the third day of our youth exchange we had activities connected with the main topic of our youth exchange which is help for Ukraine. One of our main task during this project was to prepare interviews which later we would conduct in Zamość. So first of all, we learned about the structure of the interview, we learned how the questions should look like and what type of questions we shouldn't ask. We got to know more about the volunteers we were going to interview. We also could listen to the pattern interview with one of the volunteers that helped Ukrainian refugees. Thanks to that we could better prepare our own questions. In the evening our Ukrainian participant prepared a quiz about Ukraine and showed us some Ukrainian dances and games. We had fun but also learned a lot.

Exhibition of drawings of Ukrainian children reopened

Today at 11:00 am at W. Łukasiński Elementary School No. 10 with Integration Branches in Zamość, a meeting was held that opened the second exhibition in frames of 'Let me tell you as story – Help for Ukraine' project. It is an exhibition of drawings created by Ukrainian children who stayed at the aid point at 62 Zamoyskiego str. in Zamość. The meeting was attended by: Teachers and students from Elementary School No. 10; Association HEureka Generator; Association Zamojskie Centrum Wolontariatu; Association Art Avanti; Volunteers who worked at the aid point for refugees from Ukraine in Zamość; Refugees from Ukraine temporarily staying in Zamość; Inhabitants of Zamość who host refugees from Ukraine in their homes. The meeting was opened by a participant of the project 'Let me tell you as story – Help for Ukraine', Denis Filippov, who was also the main initiator of today's event.
